Multiple clients using the same EA can cause pricing movements away from you. We can implement a number of techniques including liquidity reduction to move the quote further away from mid, so the spread is widened. We can also link together counterparties using the same strategy, so they are all optimally hedged together. For example, we identified a large EA trading across multiple servers at a client that is a large broker. We were able to apply the liquidity reduction across 6 servers, meaning that the client was able to protect themself by increasing spreads exclusively for the toxic EA account and deter future toxic flow.
